Batman the Dark Knight

By far the best Batman movie ever made, and possibly the best DC movie ever made. I hope that the writers and directors from Superman and Justice League are paying attention and don’t come out with another stupid superman movie, or completely screw up the Justice League.

It is two and half hours long, but I did not think it was boring at all.  What you are hearing and reading about the Joker is true. By far one of the best depictions of the comic book character. At least as he has been written about in the last 20 years.

I don’t want to give anything away but all I can say is go see it. Unless you just hate Comics, and it’s not your thing.  Also there is a small tribute to Jack Nicholson when the Joker is being introgated by Batman.  See if you catch it.

  1. kudos to the makers of Dark Knight for their record breaking opening weekend… it’s no wonder there’s talk of another one coming out ASAP

  2. I have to disagree with you. DK was a huge mess. This was not a Batman/ Joker flick but more of a Cop/criminal movie. Everything that makes Batman, Batman is missing. You couldn’t even understand Christian Bale as Batman most of the time. This movie’s box office is due to many wanting to see Heath’s last pic. Batman Begins was a far superior movie.

  3. Hey Mario,

I understand why you would feel the way you feel. Not sure what Batman really sounds like since I only read about him in the comics, and graphic novels. So that would give Bale, and Nolan some artistic rights on how they wish to do his voice.

In regards to how true they are to the character both Batman and Joker, they were as good as it gets for a movie. Batman is all about cops, criminals, good, evil and justice.

Give me some example of what is missing about Batman? He did not use guns, he did kill his enemies, that is classic batman. Anyhow, would love to hear more what you think is missing about Batman.
