Where did I go?

In case you are wondering where I am at or what happened to me. I am now blogging over at Inquiring Minds. I love to blog, and really love to read other blogs, however I don’t get a chance to write as often as I like. The challenge is writing often enough, and creatively enough so that people will continue to come.  You can be very creative and thought provoking but if you don’t blog often, eventually you will loose your audience. In this blogging world there are always thousands waiting to fill your spot, and gain your readers.

I created Inquiring Minds where me and a few friends will blog on a regular basis on various topics. If you are looking for me well now you know where to find me.

Blog Roll Update

Adding another blogger to my list.  Nathan Stitt

Why?  I just think he is a nice guy, and hell, he is doing something that is not easy – Learning how to read Greek on his own!  Plus he actually visits my site, often, that alone places you under consideration.  In all seriousness he offers great insight, has a great attitude and he is doing something that I have been to lazy to do, learn Greek on your own.  I hope if I see his blog every day at my site that it will remind me to keep on trying!

BlogRoll Update

Added a few more:

Lingamish

Parchment & Pen

Pneuma Blogger – Just wanted another pentecostal / charismatic on my list 😉 Don’t know how long I will keep this one.

Removed Anwoth, he is just not blogging much anymore, but as soon as he becomes very active again I will add him back.

Also removed Adrian Warnock Main reason, I just don’t visit there often enough, and his site postings confuses me is brain overload, too much going on all at once, not sure what to read when I get there.

Blogroll Update

Added a few more to my site:

New Epistles – Kevin Sam – Very informative, avid blogger, but the best thing about Kevin, he has a gentle spirit. We need more folks like him.

Communal Feast – RTJones – He is just really smart, if you got questions, so does he.

Challies dot com – Tim Challies – Not sure why I added him, he never visits, or contributes, and he is a Calvinist (but I won’t hold that against him). But he does write some cool articles, just published his first book. The good thing is that if I remove him he will never know

Bible Meme

Nick, from Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth is asking the following:

Here is my response:

1. What translation of the Bible do you like best?

Holman Christan Standard Bible (CSB) it is for now.

2. Old or New Testament?

New Testament

3. Favorite Book of the Bible?

Romans

4. Favorite Chapter?

Philippians 2

5. Favorite Verse? (feel free to explain yourself if you have to)

Philippians 3:8 “More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of Him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them filth, so that I may gain Christ” – CSB

6. Bible character you think you’re most like?

King David – many flaws, like me, loves God

7. One thing from the Bible that confuses you?

Eschatology – I get it. Just confused – it’s all of the Preterist fault 😉

8. Moses or Paul?

Paul – he’s my hero

9. A teaching from the Bible that you struggle with or don’t get?

King David – a man after God’s heart (this was a tough question, as I always found it interesting that David is the only man that the bible says this about.) Why not Joseph he is so good. I can’t even relate to the guy, he is good.

10. Coolest name in the Bible?

Methuselah

Now tag five people:

I tag: John Glass, Zack Williamson, Sam Nunnally, Kevin Sam, ElShaddai Edwards, and James Bradford Pate

Blogroll Update

I have been interacting with Sam from “Purging my soul…one blog at a time” he is a young man that loves the Lord, is dedicated to his family, and is working on his PhD dissertation in historical theology.

Plus he is Charismatic. Not that it matters, but it’s great for me on a personal level. Check out his blog, and I hope he visits here often, as I welcome his insight, and contributions.

Nick Norelli is a fellow Charismatic, and a great Thinker (I’ll let him decide just how Weird).  I truly enjoy his site, great blog, with lots of thought provoking articles. I enjoy his attitude, and his dedication to Christ.

Also stop by and visit Ron Simpkins.  He is a great Weird Thinker-Christian.  He does not post often but does write some very fascinating articles.  We are great friends, and the last 5 years he has inspired me to die and live for Christ more than any other.  Some of the recent posts are from his upcoming new book.
